Early Music Week is offering $175 (regular price $200) tuition for ACMP members for its half-week program at World Fellowship Center: July 25-28! (Housing must be arranged separately through World Fellowship Center.) Please be sure to mention your ACMP member status when registering!
Early Music Week is a summer program devoted to the study and performance of music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. We welcome amateur and pre-professional instrumentalists and vocalists ages 14 and up. Early Music Week workshops are intimate, personalized, and non-competitive, and the faculty are all devoted and experienced professionals in early music. World Fellowship Center is an independent, intergenerational, and secular summer camp and conference center located near the White Mountain National Forest, whose mission is to promote social justice, community, and a connection with nature. NOTE: While it is preferable for folks to bring their own period instruments, Early Music Week would be happy to help people secure an instrument rental, or have them play on a modern instrument if a rental is not available. The main instruments are harpsichord, traverso flute, recorders, strings and voice, but other instruments will be considered on a case by case basis.
