2024 Worldwide Play-In Events
ACMP’s Official Worldwide Play-In Weekend takes place from Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2024 but we have extended the whole Worldwide Play-In initiative to encompass Play-Ins throughout May, which is National Chamber Music Month here in the United States, and early June and we accept Play-In grant applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.

NYC Brandenburg Concerti Play-In on May 18
Durham, North Carolina All-Cello Play-In on May 18
St. Paul, Minnesota Baroque Play-In on May 19
NYC at the 92nd Street Y on June 2
Hingham, Massachusetts on June 30
Meanwhile, ACMP’s Worldwide Play-In is all about participation! We are encouraging Play-Ins large and small, public and private to take place all over the world, especially from May 17 through May 19.

Charles Hsu – oncologist, violist, luthier
Charles Hsu has packed a lot into his 33 years. Born in the New Jersey, he grew up in Taiwan, moved back to the United States to attend MIT, and, after a stint as a management consultant, pursued his medical studies at Yale and Harvard.
